Fender Telecaster with Rosewood Fretboard 1977 Antigua

This is the beautiful and rare Antigua finish on a 1977 Fender Telecaster with a rosewood neck. The guitar is 100% original and very clean as you can see for yourself. The tele comes from a guitar teacher that had it stored in his room for 30 years. The guitar was manufactured in 1977.
The body is in great condition with minimal handling wear. There are a few users marks you may expect from a guitar from 1977. The paint is nice and unfaded and a great Antigua-not too grey and not too yellow. The neck joint is solid and the neck itself is straight. The truss rod functions and the tuners operate nicely. The guitar stays in tune. The headstock and logo both display excellent. The neck has a nice vintage profile with a smooth feel. The string height has been set low for fast and easy action. The guitar plays great with no dead spots. The fingerboard is nice and clean. The frets are in near great condition, see photos. The bridge pickup has been professionally rewired at Smitty guitars. 
The controls all work well and the bridge is fully adjustable and functional. Features strings through the body for a superior sustain. 
The guitar will be sold in the original Fender case. This Antigua is a popular finish which makes it a collector's item beside the age of the guitar. This guitar has to be played but it is also a good investment.
