Are you a guitar player? Do you know Gibson? Then you can not have never heard of Gibson SG. One of the most ironic guitars of all time. A guitar that is a must in your collection.
First introduced to the market in 1961. The SG actually has a very clear meaning: Solid Guitar. The SG had entered the market to counter the Les Paul. The Les Paul was heavy while the SG is a very light guitar. A nice alternative for the guitarist who suffers from his back. Despite the weight, the guitar does still have a great versatile sound that you would expect from Gibson. The SG can no longer be ignored by the guitarists and it celebrated its 60s anniversary last year.
The SG is loved by many great artists. Perhaps the most famous guitarist who swears by it is Angus Young of AC/DC. Eric Clapton and Gary Clark Jr. are two other big names with whom they have performed many performances.
