Perhaps this is one of the most talked about colors: Antigua. Antigua is a color that has been used for fenders since the 1960s. Did you know that this color was actually born by accident?
Sunburst was created by a transition from black to yellow. A different color was accidentally used and then the color Antigua was born. In the 1970s the color became popular and was used for the Stratocaster, the Telecaster and the Jazz Bass. Then a few more came back to the Japanese reissue models in the 2000s. The color is getting more and more popular and the prices are higher.
